Your new role, what's involved?
- Contract Management:
- Administer and manage contracts for engineering, design, and construction projects in compliance with Saudi government regulations.
- Handle the entire contract lifecycle, from pre-qualification and tendering to contract award, execution, and post-award administration.
- Cost Estimation & Quantity Surveying:
- Provide expertise in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and budget management for construction projects.
- Review and validate cost proposals, change orders, and variations, ensuring alignment with project budgets and scope.
- Contract Documentation:
- Prepare and review contract documents, agreements, and correspondences to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor contract performance and track key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Government Regulations & Compliance:
- Ensure that contracts are in full compliance with Saudi Arabian government regulations and procurement standards.
- Advise internal teams on regulatory requirements, contractual terms, and conditions to mitigate risks.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential risks related to contracts and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
- Assist in the negotiation and resolution of disputes or claims related to contracts.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with other project teams, including engineering, procurement, and legal departments, to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any contractual issues.
Skills
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in contracts management, particularly with government contracts in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of various types of contracts, including engineering, design, and construction agreements.
- Experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying, with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial management.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian government procurement regulations and contractual practices.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
