The Legal Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the company operates within the legal frameworks applicable to the FMCG industry in Saudi Arabia. This position is designed for a female candidate who will oversee the legal aspects of the business, providing guidance and support to various departments while ensuring compliance with local and international laws. The Legal Manager will also be responsible for managing legal risks, drafting and reviewing contracts, and representing the company in legal proceedings. This role requires a proactive approach to legal challenges and a deep understanding of the FMCG sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all legal matters related to the company's operations in the FMCG sector.
  2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  3. Ensure compliance with local regulations and international laws affecting the company.
  4. Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including marketing, sales, and human resources.
  5. Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
  6. Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.
  7. Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations.
  8. Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to enhance compliance.
  9. Train staff on legal compliance and risk management practices.
  10. Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary.

Preferred Candidate:

  2. Strong educational background in law, preferably with a focus on corporate or commercial law.
  3. Proven experience in a legal role within the FMCG industry.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
  8. Knowledge of local and international trade laws.
  9. Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
