Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations at our chemical manufacturing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, and mechanics to carry out preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on all plant equipment, including production machinery, HVAC systems, plumbing, Instrument, and electrical systems.
• Implement a comprehensive maintenance program to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and efficiency.
• Analyze maintenance data and generate reports to identify trends, optimize maintenance schedules, and make data-driven decisions.
• Coordinate with production managers to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Responsible of maintenance-related procurement & spare parts inventory inventory.
• Train and develop the maintenance team to continuously improve their skills and knowledge.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related inquiries and issues.

Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisor or lead technician role, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance professionals
• Strong commitment to safety and a track record of promoting a safe work environment
• Experience with budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations
