The role focuses on leading the Process and Control initiatives within a broader transformation program, ensuring operational consistency, compliance, and efficiency through standardized processes, audits, and risk management. The aim is to drive continuous improvement, enhance operational excellence, and align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
SOP Development and Implementation:
Create and document clear, consistent standard operating procedures (SOPs) across core and support functions.Regularly update SOPs to reflect operational changes, technology advancements, and regulatory updates.Communicate and train staff on SOPs to promote compliance and adherence.
Audits and Compliance Monitoring:
Design and implement an audit program to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.Conduct periodic audits, evaluate internal controls, and address non-compliance issues.Prepare detailed audit reports and oversee corrective action plans to prevent recurring issues.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend streamlined processes using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.Perform process mapping to pinpoint redundancies and implement process improvement initiatives.Measure the impact of improvements on efficiency, cost reduction, and resource optimization.
Internal Controls and Risk Management:
Establish internal controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.Develop and maintain a risk management plan, identifying and addressing potential threats.Train teams on compliance standards and risk management, fostering accountability.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance, process adherence, and risk management.Use data analytics to identify trends and drive strategic decision-making.Provide regular reports to stakeholders, detailing progress, challenges, and recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with departments and quality teams to align process improvement initiatives with organizational goals.Collaborate to address compliance issues and develop standardized workflows.
Team Management and Development:
Lead and inspire the process and control team, promoting continuous improvement and compliance.Develop training programs to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.Identify and nurture talent, ensuring sustained contributions to long-term operational excellence.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience in process optimization and compliance, with a proven record of implementing internal controls and driving operational efficiency.Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).Strong analytical skills and expertise in SOP creation, audit reporting, and risk management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.Fluency in Arabic and English.
