Position Summary:

 

• Ensuring the quality of Work and safety in the plant.

• Overall responsible for the Operation of DRI Modules in Shift's and General-Shift.

• To keep a track on key Process Parameters, ensure safe & optimum operation of the

Modules as per the Standard Work procedures & Work Instructions.

• Study and analyze plant process parameters and plant operational behavior.

• Prepare report of process deviations and give advice to shift in charge for correction.

• Take immediate action to ensure that product quality is maintained.

• Coordination with Shift groups

• Execution of Modification jobs in plant for continual improvement.

• Execution of jobs in monthly and annual shut down.

• Reporting to the higher authorities regarding any abnormalities.


Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

 

1. To ensure that the Modules are operating as per the Daily Operating Instructions.

2. Study and analyze plant process parameters and plant operational behavior.

3. Prepare report of process deviations and give advice to shift in charge for correction.

4. To take plant rounds every day in the shift and report any abnormalities to the higher-ups.

5. To guide & instruct the supporting staff in Production line for the smooth functioning of the

Modules so as to achieve the daily production target, qualitatively as well as quantitatively.

6. To ensure the safety of the co-workers.

7. To ensure the Safety of various equipment's & Modules in general.

8. To clear the non-conformity in the Shift.

9. To prioritize the jobs for service departments.

10. Co-ordination with other departments & outside agencies for the smooth functioning of the

11. Co-ordination with other departments for various Planned as well as Breakdown

12. Logging of various events happened in his shift & Data logging.

13. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

14. To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.

15. To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.

16. To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.

17. To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.

18. To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.

19. To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.

20. To attend safety trainings planned for them.

21. Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.

 

Skills

Competencies:

 

Experienced in Process and operation of DRI- MIDREX modules.

Basic knowledge of SAP.

Decision making for MIDREX modules trouble shooting.
