  • Plan and coordinate the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to the appropriate destinations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  1. Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock is available to meet demand.
  • Oversee the storage and handling of goods to ensure they are kept in optimal conditions.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  1. Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best possible terms.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  1. Shipping and Receiving:
  • Oversee the receiving, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for outbound shipments, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and standards.
  1. Transportation Management:
  • Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods, including route planning and scheduling.
  • Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Ensure transportation methods comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on logistics operations, including cost analysis, delivery performance, and inventory levels.
  • Use logistics software and tools to manage and streamline operations.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Ensure that all logistics activities meet quality and safety standards.
