General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Process Design and Optimization:
- Lead the development and optimization of process designs for water treatment, wastewater treatment, and related infrastructure projects.
- Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and pilot tests to evaluate process alternatives and identify optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate process requirements into overall project designs and specifications.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements, standards, and guidelines related to water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Ensure project designs and operations comply with relevant environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, operators, and stakeholders on process-related issues, troubleshooting, and optimization opportunities.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance understanding and competency in process operations and maintenance.
- Quality Assurance and Control:
- Establish and implement quality assurance and control measures to monitor process performance, water quality parameters, and treatment efficiency.
- Develop protocols for sampling, testing, and analysis of water and wastewater samples to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and failure modes associated with process operations and infrastructure components.
- Develop risk assessment methodologies, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans to minimize the impact of operational disruptions and ensure system reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reliability, and resilience.
- Analyze operational data, performance metrics, and feedback from stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
Skills
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- 15 + years of experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Well-versed in project management SOPs and PMIS systems (Unifier, ERP Project Costing, P6 EPPM).
- Well-versed in change management and business enablement methodology implementation and execution.
