We are seeking a skilled Painter Technician with experience in painting 3D prints, maquettes, electroplating, and hydrographic painting. This role is essential in adding high-quality finishes to our 3D printed models and custom designs. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in various painting techniques and coatings, along with a deep understanding of post-production finishing for additive manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3D Print Painting: Apply precise paint finishes to 3D printed objects, ensuring smooth textures and high-quality appearance.

• Maquette Painting: Skillfully paint architectural and industrial maquettes with attention to detail, color matching, and texturing.

• Electroplating: Perform electroplating on parts and models as needed, ensuring adherence to material specifications and quality standards.

• Hydrographic Painting: Execute hydrographic printing/painting on various models, including preparation, application, and finishing processes.

• Surface Preparation: Sand, smooth, and prime 3D printed parts to prepare them for painting and finishing treatments.

• Quality Control: Ensure all painted and coated parts meet stringent internal quality checks, maintaining consistency in color, texture, and durability.

• Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Maintain painting equipment, tools, and workspaces to ensure efficiency and a safe working environment.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the design and production teams to understand client specifications and ensure all finishes meet the expected outcomes.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in 3D print painting and post-processing (experience with FDM, SLA prints preferred).

• Expertise in electroplating, hydrographic painting, and maquette finishing.

• Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques for a wide range of materials, including plastics, metals, and composite materials.

• Familiarity with using spray guns, airbrushes, and other painting tools for fine details and large-scale projects.

• Knowledge of color theory, shading techniques, and finishing effects.

• Ability to follow detailed designs and instructions, maintaining consistency across batches.

• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in additive manufacturing industries.

• Ability to handle custom finishes for specialized sectors such as real estate, oil & gas, healthcare, or industrial modeling.

• Basic knowledge of CNC machining, 3D modeling, or graphic design is a plus.

• Experience and knowledge of Electroplating
