We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef - Grill to lead our grill station and support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of grilling techniques and a passion for creating perfectly cooked, flavorful dishes. This role requires a strong leader with attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia, specifically in Jeddah
Skills
Manage the grill station, preparing high-quality meats, seafood, and vegetables according to menu specifications.
Assist the Head Chef in daily operations, including planning, ordering, and inventory management for the grill station.
Ensure all grilled items meet our standards for quality, presentation, and taste.
Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized grill station, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
Uphold food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and the creation of seasonal grill items.
Qualifications
Culinary degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a professional kitchen.
Proven experience in grilling techniques and the ability to work with various meats, seafood, and vegetables.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Fluent in Arabic and English (both spoken and written).
