Position Overview
The Project Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing contractual and commercial management internally, with the client, and with downstream partners, ensuring smooth progress of the project in terms of finance, compliance, contract execution, and communication. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of project construction, design, and procurement schedules, and the ability to effectively manage key commercial activities to protect the company’s interests and ensure successful project implementation.

Job Description

Internal Management:

1. Track and manage all aspects of the project, including construction progress, design timelines, procurement schedules, internal regulations, cost control, pricing standards, revenue management, contract terms, and compliance processes, ensuring all activities proceed as planned.

2. Draft, manage, and monitor various contract documents, tracking adherence to contract terms and handling amendments, adjustments, and renewals as necessary.

3. Conduct cost analysis and periodically assess the project's revenue and expenses, ensuring financial health and adherence to budget constraints.

4. Ensure that all project activities comply with company and local compliance requirements, proactively addressing any potential compliance risks.

Client Relations Management:

1. Issue formal notifications, contract-related responses, and claims to the client at key project milestones and event points, ensuring timely and effective protection of the company’s contractual interests.

2. Manage communications with the client to maintain a positive working relationship, ensuring smooth project progress and protecting the company’s legal rights.

3. Actively negotiate and resolve issues or disputes, collaborating with the legal team if necessary to ensure the company’s interests are safeguarded.

Downstream Partner Management:

1. Lead the contract signing process with downstream subcontractors, suppliers, and other partners, including negotiation of contract terms, agreement signing, and monitoring adherence to contractual obligations.

2. Support commercial negotiations to achieve optimal terms for the company, and develop binding contractual agreements tailored to project needs.

3. Initiate claims processes against downstream suppliers or subcontractors in the event of delays or quality issues, ensuring the company receives due compensation.

4. Regularly monitor the execution of downstream contracts, making adjustments or amendments as necessary, and address any potential disputes to maintain a robust project and supply chain.

Position Requirements

· Educational background in Engineering, Business Management, or Law or related fields.

· At least 8 years of experience in project commercial management, with a preference for candidates who have served in a management capacity on large projects in Saudi Arabia,such as NEOM, Aramco, Red Sea etc..

· Extensive experience in contract management, legal compliance, and cost control, with familiarity in various contract types (e.g., EPC, PPP) and risk management practices.

· Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively coordinate and drive project progress among multiple stakeholders.

· Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic or Chinese is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary:

1. Monthly salary in the range of 30,000 SAR to 50,000 SAR, including coverage for meals, accommodation, transportation, and communication costs.

2. Exceptionally qualified candidates may be offered a higher salary.

Leave:

1. 20 days of leave for every 6 months of service.

Additional Benefits:

1. Full coverage for insurance and Iqama fees provided by the company.
