Job Purpose
To report into the CDO and contribute to leading the development function for The Red Sea Development Company. Oversee projects from conception to implementation within approved project parameters in order to meet customer satisfaction, achieve profitability, in alignment with RSG's vision and business strategy.
Job Responsibilities - Leadership
- Oversee the day to day activities of the development team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies and procedures.
- Lead the preparation of budgets, and monitor actual expenditure against the approved budget so that the division is aware of anticipated costs/revenue
- Prepare budget plans based on previous engagements and current market trends to anticipate cost and ensure a healthy budget check on ongoing and future developments
- Direct the development of tender documents to initiate the bidding process with contractors and lead the negotiations
- Develop and outline the development opportunities including financial models, financing options and performance measures to ensure alignment of business plans
- Contribute to the evaluation process to identify the most suitable project concepts and developments that will yield the highest returns to the company, in order to present to senior management for alignment and approval
- Provide expertise and overall direction to the project development process in order to ensure alignment of project parameters and standards with best practices and legislative requirements
- Direct and advise on the contracting process to ensure timely and efficient procurement of outsourced services to achieve the project requirements by overseeing procurement activities to ensure effective negotiation and selection of highly qualified contractors at efficient and competitive prices
- Oversee the progress of projects by monitoring budgeted costs, quality, timelines, contractors and consultants to ensure that the project is developed as per RSG’s specifications and quality standards

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience
- Proven experience and track record of leadership and success in the development of complex multi-faceted land, second home residential and resort developments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any other related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA.
- Minimum of 20+ relevant experience
