We are seeking an experienced and results-driven B2B Sales Manager with a strong background in the finishing materials and construction sectors, specifically in projects involving wooden flooring. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive professional network within these industries and demonstrate technical proficiency that enables them to interpret and utilize technical drawings, data sheets, and related documentation. This role requires exceptional communication skills for effective engagement with client-side engineers and technical teams, fostering productive relationships that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting B2B clients in the finishing materials and construction sectors.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by leveraging existing industry contacts and building new relationships within the sector.
- Provide technical expertise and support during client meetings, ensuring clear and accurate communication of product specifications and benefits.
- Review, interpret, and utilize technical drawings, blueprints, and data sheets to effectively address client inquiries and project needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and engineering, to align solutions with client requirements and expectations.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches that resonate with engineering and technical teams.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and client engagement to contract negotiation and closure.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, outlining sales activities, pipeline progress, and strategic insights.
Skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a technical or engineering degree is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales within the finishing materials, construction, or wooden flooring industries.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong network within the construction and finishing materials sectors.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and data sheets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with client-side engineers and technical teams.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully managing complex sales cycles.
