Elevators Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Elevators Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an Elevators Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and escalators. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that elevator systems are safe, reliable, and meet all relevant codes and regulations.


Responsibilities:

  1. Design, plan, and oversee the installation of elevator systems in new buildings.
  2. Inspect and evaluate existing elevators to identify any mechanical or electrical issues.
  3. Conduct preventive maintenance on elevators to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  4. Respond to service calls to troubleshoot and repair elevator malfunctions.
  5. Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure that elevator systems are integrated seamlessly into building plans.
  6. Ensure that all elevator installations and repairs comply with local codes and safety regulations.
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to clients and contractors regarding elevator systems.
  8. Maintain accurate records of all elevator installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in elevator technology and new industry regulations.

Skills

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  2. Proven experience as an Elevators Engineer, preferably in the construction industry.
  3. Knowledge of elevator systems, including hydraulic, traction, and machine room-less elevators.
  4. Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations, such as ASME A17.1 and EN 81.
  5. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.
  9. Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
