Document Controller (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is on the lookout for an experienced Document Controller to join our operations in Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and organization of project documentation in the Oil & Gas sector. As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for the accurate filing, tracking, and management of all project-related documents, ensuring that they are readily available and compliant with internal and external standards.

Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will support project teams in maintaining effective documentation processes throughout the project lifecycle. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to significant projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

  • Create, upload, and maintain document libraries within SharePoint, ensuring proper organization and metadata tagging
  • Set up SharePoint permissions and workflows for document access and approval processes
  • Manage user access and permissions within SharePoint, adhering to security protocols
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint issues and escalate problems to IT as needed
  • Assist users with navigating and utilizing SharePoint functionalities for document management

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a document control or administrative role
  • Certified Document Controller (CDC) or similar document management certification a plus
  • Aconex Certified Professional or relevant Aconex training a plus
  • Active user of SharePoint and understanding of its functionalities
  • Proven experience in using SharePoint and Aconex document management platforms
  • Strong understanding of document management principles and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent knowledge of filing systems and document organization techniques
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
