Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Supervise construction activities during the night shift, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration on site.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality and ensure that construction methods and materials meet project standards and specifications.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during night operations, including technical challenges or personnel concerns.
- Safety Management: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, conducting safety briefings and inspections for the night crew.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, material usage, and any incidents or delays.
- Reporting: Communicate regularly with project managers and day shift engineers to provide updates on site conditions, progress, and any issues encountered.
- Resource Management: Manage site resources efficiently, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity during the night shift.
Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in construction engineering or site supervision, preferably with a focus on night operations.
Skills: Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials, along with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.
