Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing: Perform inspections and tests on instrumentation equipment and systems to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and deviations. Prepare reports and documentation for quality assurance purposes.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure all instrumentation meets industry standards (such as ISO, API, etc.) and project specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Audits: Conduct regular audits of instrumentation systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance and control practices.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify non-conformance issues and work with teams to develop solutions and preventive measures.
Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation inspection or a related QA/QC role, preferably in a relevant industry.
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector, API certification) are a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, measurement techniques, and quality assurance practices.
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaborating with teams.
