Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical support inquiries
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users via phone, email, or in-person
- Document problems and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripherals
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff when necessary
- Assist with user account management and system access requests
- Provide training and support to users on various IT tools and applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in an IT help desk or support role
- Strong understanding of computer systems, and other tech products
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL are a plus
