As the Social Media & Digital Strategy Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the digital growth and fan engagement for a high-profile, sports-related brand in Saudi Arabia. You will develop, execute, and manage innovative social media strategies that align with the brand’s overall marketing objectives, staying ahead of industry trends both regionally and globally.


Key Responsibilities:


Social Media Strategy:

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to brand and audience needs.

Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, platform developments, and digital best practices globally and within the MENA region.

Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure the brand remains competitive and innovative across all digital platforms.


Content Creation & Management:

Curate, create, and manage engaging content for platforms like Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Ensure that all content is on-brand, consistent in tone, and optimized for each platform, while staying relevant to the sports industry.

Collaborate closely with internal creative teams, videographers, photographers, and designers to produce high-quality multimedia content that resonates with the audience.


Advertising & Media Coordination:

Work hand-in-hand with external media companies to manage and coordinate paid advertising campaigns.

Oversee the planning, execution, and performance analysis of advertising campaigns (including various formats like video, carousel ads, and stories).

Ensure timely and accurate reporting on the effectiveness of social media strategies and campaigns.


Community Engagement & Fan Interaction:

Actively monitor and engage with the brand’s fanbase across platforms, responding to comments, and fostering a loyal and active community.

Leverage social media insights and data analytics to refine strategies, enhance fan engagement, and grow the brand’s digital presence.

Skills

Qualifications:


Location & Language:

  • Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is essential.


Experience:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Social Media Manager or Specialist, preferably within the sports industry or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute social media strategies that drive engagement and growth.
  • Strong experience in paid advertising campaign management across social platforms.


Digital Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms and how to leverage them for business and fan engagement.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, SEO, and content marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Sprout Social).


Competitor Awareness:

  • Experience in conducting regular competitor analysis to keep the brand ahead of industry trends and adjust strategies as necessary.


Personal Attributes:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
