We are searching for a senior corporate attorney who can assist with a broad range of corporate and commercial transactional matters, including M&A, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, commercial contracts and VC / equity investments. The candidate should have a magic circle / white shoe law firm background and training. Additional in-house experience would be helpful as well as international / cross-border experience, particularly in the GCC region. Leadership skills, strong technical expertise and expert relationship management will be critical for the successful applicant. |
ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES The Legal Managers responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Legal Support - Senior role in the Transactions (Corporate, M&A) Team in the Legal Department on a variety of transactional and commercial matters, with a leadership role on transaction diligence, drafting, negotiation and execution to optimize and safeguard NEOM’s interests.
- Review contracts and policies and provide related legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Assist and support others within the NEOM Legal Department by providing advice, training and guidance relating to your areas of expertise.
- Work efficiently with outside counsel, proactively liaising among them and various stakeholders to add value.
- Be a multi-tasker who can handle multiple legal workstreams and consistently meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Provide additional services and advice as needed.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS - Relevant technical expertise and law firm or in-house experience in similar role.
- 10 to 15 years of post-qualification experience (UK-qualified or equivalent).
- Registered to practice law in any jurisdiction.
- Willingness to be based in NEOM Community.
- Desire to learn and practice in new legal disciplines to provide comprehensive business support.
- Fluency in English or fluency in Arabic and strong English skills.
