Job Purpose


To assist in monitoring project progress and managing project schedule, ensuring that project implementation is progressing according to plan and that the development and construction aspects are aligned with The Red Sea Global Company’s (TRSGC) business objectives and requirements.

Schedule Management
•    Assist in reviewing and studying detailed project schedule and obtain relevant details from the related stakeholders to clarify the technical aspects in the project in order to integrate those aspects into the master schedule and deliverable schedule and define project planning timelines.
•    Provide support in monitoring the progress of projects through reports from the contractors to ensure that the project implementation is progressing according to plan and that the development and construction aspects are aligned with project planning.
•    Assist in reviewing project progress along with the project and construction management team, and in monitoring and controlling projects against budgeted costs, quality, schedule and standards to ensure that the project milestones and timelines are aligned with TRSGC metrics.
•    Assist in planning schedules and upcoming works and recommend appropriate planning actions to ensure that milestones and project delivery dates are met. 
•    Provide support in implementing key performance indicators related to project planning and in monitoring the results, identifying areas of unsatisfactory results and implementing mitigation plans to improve results.
•    Assist in reporting weekly progress of works, contractor and consultant performances, procurement performance, issues and solutions, and scheduled work for the upcoming weeks to the Planning Director for an informed project status.
•    Assist in identifying and managing different aspects of risks presented on a project coming from contractors or consultants to create preventative risk methods and avoid potential delays and added cost.

•    Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. 
•    Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies and standards. 

Safety, Quality & Environment
•    Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.


Continuous Improvement  
•    Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the Planning function’s systems, processes and practices considering international best practice, business process improvement, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field
•    Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
