The Sales Head - Retail position is crucial for ensuring that retailers are well-stocked and equipped with the right products to meet consumer demands. This role involves conducting thorough market research to understand competitive offerings and analyzing consumer behavior to align with customer expectations seamlessly. The Sales Head will be responsible for building strong relationships with retail partners and implementing effective sales strategies to drive growth and visibility in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with retailers and partners, ensuring regular communication and support.
- Conduct regular visits to retail locations to address queries and understand their needs.
- Organize meetings with buyers and store supervisors to gather feedback on sales performance and market trends.
- Analyze competitor offerings and market promotions to inform strategic decisions.
- Collect sales forecasts from customers and develop actionable plans to meet targets.
- Oversee sales promotions and ensure product visibility in the market.
- Maintain an updated price list for all retail partners, including hypermarkets and corporate clients.
- Communicate product availability, pricing, and stock visibility to partners effectively.
- Ensure timely order placement and product merchandising at retail locations.
- Track all promotional offers and prepare necessary documentation, including credit notes and approvals.
- Generate and manage reports on sales performance and stock levels with retail partners.
- Maintain periodic reports on cash collections, particularly during new product introductions (NPI).
- Send Statements of Account (SOA) to partners weekly and monitor payment schedules.
- Oversee after-sales service requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for credit note follow-ups.
