The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in machinery maintenance, particularly in the recycling sector, and will be responsible for leading initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Leading all maintenance activities of the metal recycling plants and machines, ensuring efficient performance, adherence with safety and environmental standards, and effective team leadership.
Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to achieve the maximum availability and performance efficiency.
Implement and oversee SOPs to standardize maintenance processes and maintain consistent standards.
Enforce safety protocols and environmental compliance, regularly reviewing and updating SOPs to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team, providing training, performance feedback, and enhance sense of urgency.
Ensures the timely ordering and delivery of spare parts and consumables for physical assets.
Communicates the preventive maintenance schedule to the concerned managers at the end user.
Assist in budget preparation for plants and machines maintenance. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
Provides the Technical Manager with data and support for improving maintenance activities.
Assess the performance of the operations and maintenance efficiency against set KPIs.
Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance, safety, and 5S implementation.
