ROLE OVERVIEW
To control, coordinate and manage all MAGNA processes related to the cost database updates, reporting, asset list update and reporting, and feasibility studies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Policies & Procedures
- Manages the Asset list of the MAGNA following NEOM policies, procedures and processes
- Manages Cost Database reporting and change management following ETSD cost Policy and Procedures
Business Strategies
- Draft business cases and conduct feasibility studies
- Review the Business cases from the execution/contracting perspective
- Control Development efficiencies
- Reviews and contributes to the MAGNA Execution Strategy
- Reviews and contributes to the MAGNA Sales Strategy
- Board reporting as required
Procurement
- Evaluate the strategic procurement needs of the Project
- Supports the MAGNA projects with contracting strategy and planning
- Prepare comprehensive summaries for senior management with an analysis of different contractors’ engagement options
- Supports the MAGNA procurement if required
Document Auditing and logs
- Ensures adequate document records are retained and audit and performance management mechanisms are in place
- Arrange proper documentation flow and control
- Keeps the log of changes to the Asset list, Cost database, Business cases, and another commercial workstream if required
Commercial
- Reviews Project-related commercial activities, including interaction with Consultants and Contractors, variation orders review, Contractor`s claims review, and settlement
- Identify opportunities and lead efforts for cost reduction and increased efficiencies
- Work with the other NEOM Sectors and Departments, as required
- Ensure preparation of status reports
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Able to communicate effectively with mid-level and senior stakeholders.
- Able to determine the actions, risks and end results required in order to get the job done.
- Ability to respond appropriately in unplanned and unforeseen circumstances.
- Advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to draft and report to senior management with recommendations regarding assigned tasks
- Knowledge of Commercial management processes and procedures.
- Advanced document drafting and contract formation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities and trends.
- Highly numerate, with highly developed analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative data.
- Knowledge of contracting concepts, processes, activities and trends.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP, ORACLE
- Lead by example, promoting the highest standards of conduct, integrity and probity.
- Ability to coach / lean members of the Commercial team.
- Ability to plan deliverables, milestone and sign-off points.
- Ability to schedule and monitor activities to achieve organizational MAGNAls.
- Recognizes when to use different negotiation approaches and builds trusting relationships when resolving conflicts.
- Successfully achieves results through persuasion and confident communication. Develops trust and uses logic, reasoning and bargaining strategies to gain commitment with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Economics, Commerce, and Construction degree level plus formal contracting experience.
