Eram Talent, a leading Talent Acquisition Company, is seeking a skilled Rigger to join a prominent organization within the oil and gas sector. The Rigger will be responsible for the safe and efficient rigging of equipment, materials, and personnel as part of various project operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and dismantle rigging equipment, such as hoists, pulleys, and rigging lines according to specifications
- Ensure all rigging operations are conducted safely and comply with industry standards and regulations
- Inspect rigging equipment for defects or wear prior to use and maintain proper inventory of rigging materials
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify rigging requirements for specific tasks
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior riggers and other crew members
- Monitor and report any safety concerns or incidents to supervisors promptly
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of rigging tasks performed and any equipment inspections conducted
Requirements
- Minimum Five (5) years' experience as Rigger operator or in seaman motor ship or Boat Operator. And can speak & write English language.
- Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, techniques, and safety protocols
- Certifications in rigging (e.g., NCCCO or similar) are preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and rigging diagrams
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
