JOB PURPOSE:

To support the warehouse activities in PCC and ensure that the materials was accurately received and maintain a safe systematic and organise storage in PCC warehouse in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications: High School & above, preferably bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.

Experience: More than two years as warehouse coordinator / storekeeper in manufacturing companies. Experience in plastic packaging companies is preferred and would a plus. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Day- to Day Operations:

  • Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work activities and contribution to departmental objectives
  •  Possess thorough knowledge of all parts in the Warehouse inventory. Receives and logs incoming freight shipments, including monitoring of off-loading, staging, decorating etc.
  • Uses loading and unloading equipment to store items in warehouse, stock shelves and retrieve items from storage according to requests. Operate Forklift and other basic lifts and labour saving devices. Fills orders from stock, rotates stock and delivers items to designated location/craftsman according to schedule. Issue shared equipment maintained in the Warehouse
  • Have daily in-person contact with other Department staff to receive orders, issue merchandise, answer questions, and coordinate warehouse operations. Have regular contact with Warehouse office staff/workers and procurement staff to oversee and coordinate warehouse functions such as inventory, purchasing, shipping, receiving, and delivery, and with the business office in such areas as inventory control, billings, purchasing, etc
  • Receive stock materials and store according to designated location. Arrange stock materials using warehouse equipment or manual lifting if required for materials with a max weight of 50lbs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all assigned warehouse storage.
  • Regular reporting 

Warehouse Cycle

  • Monitor warehouse functions in conjunction with Supervisor for the purpose of providing efficient operations
  • Ensure physical inventories for department supplies for the purpose of verifying stocks and identifying losses
  • Embrace, support, and promote vision and strategic plan of the organization
  • Provide regular updates to Warehouse Supervisor regarding warehouse activities to ensure the materials are received on a timely manner
  • Develop system to maintain warehouse consistency
  • Monitor inventory tracking system accuracy
  •  Continually assess inventory systems to identify issues and opportunities for improvements

Change Management

  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, considering regional and international best practice for the improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Reporting

  • Prepares and where required assists in the preparation of accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards

Safety, Quality & Environment

  • Complies with all relevant safety quality and environmental management policies procedures and controls to maintain a healthy and safe work environment
  • Set policies and standards, including determination of health and safety procedures for the handling of dangerous goods, and ensure compliance with transport regulations

Skills

  • Excellent command of English & Arabic language in both written and oral.
  •  Demonstrate collaboration and teaming skills across all functions.
  •  Must be computer literate and current on new technology.
  •  Hardworking, a self-starter and a problem solver.
  •  Knowledge of ERP, SAP would be plus.
  • Supply Chain Management.
