manage and oversee the sales. He shall be responsible for designing plans to meet targets, developing relationships with clients/customers.
He shall be responsible for overall strategic direction of Sales department, identifying new sales leads, providing guidance about expected terms of sales, overseeing the negotiation with customers.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets projecting expected sales volumes
- Work collaboratively across teams - including production, estimates and finance department
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Maintain healthy relations with all existing customers to ensure repeat orders from them,
- Continuously search for the new customer leads to build and grow customer base of Al Ashoury,
- Update senior management (GM and Chairperson) on regular basis and inform them about market environment, key challenges etc.
- Derive the pricing strategy for different types of customers,
- Direct, manage and carry out presentations, proposals and price lists to enable the team to deliver accurate and competitive information whilst maintaining maximum profit margin and assist team members to prepare and deliver client/customer presentations, proposals and price lists,
- Oversee the collection from customers and ensure timely collection of receivables from customers,
- Ensure continuous cooperation with production department to identify the production capacity (availability of excess capacity or overload) to direct the delivery terms with customers.
- Present detailed reports to the executive team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Supervising and reviewing sales performance: monitor changes in the industry that could affect sales performance.
Skills
- Must have bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent. Having masters will have an added advantage
- Minimum 15years of relevant sales experience including 10 years’ experience in similar position of a manufacturing company,
- In-depth knowledge of steel and its products markets in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills are a must. Ideal candidate must be self-directed. Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
