Job Purpose:
Lead and develop event marketing strategies to create demand for AlUla's consumer events from the target audience. Effectively implement, optimize and measure campaigns.
Functional Responsibilities:
1- Lead the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy to ensure successful implementation of AlUla events with the aim to attract and increase visitors to AlUla, Khaybar & Tayma.
2- Develop the overall strategic annual plan and calendar of events.
3- Provide support to present RCU managed locations as a destination that is significant in the arts and culture space as a living immersive heritage museum.
4- Establish RCU managed locations as an example for large scale event operation that holds community and opportunity for community inclusion and upskilling at the core.
5- Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness and success of the event marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement based on evaluation.
6- Lead the coordination of tendering and purchasing of all events marketing services in coordination with Procurement.
7- work closely with the Creative and Brand agencies under the direction of the Head of Brand and Marketing Manager to ensure alignment with brand strategy and creative implementation across festivals and events.
8- Coordinate and assist with the execution of event campaigns with the Creative agency, from briefings to final plan delivery.
9- Ensure all agencies and stream leads submit their deliverables on time and report their activities promptly, maintaining high standards of communication and accountability.
10- Support and coordinate the broadcasting of concerts and sporting events where applicable.
11- Support the Head of Brand in managing the production of marketing collaterals and branded materials, ensuring consistency and quality across all outputs.
12- Work closely with the Head of Research to show return on investment (ROI) and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
13- Support the Sponsorship Rights and Delivery team in fulfilling sponsorship requirements throughout the AlUla Moments calendar, ensuring cross-functional teams deliver as per plan.
14- Perform any other job-related duties required by the direct manager.
Job Requirements:
Academic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (Masters Preferred)
Work Experience:
8 years of relevant experience.
Other Requirements:
• Written and Oral proficiency of English language.
• Excellent communication skills.
