Head of IT & Digital Services

One of our clients, a prominent company in the building materials industry, is seeking to hire a Head of IT & Digital Services. This individual will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of the Digital IT & Transformation strategy and its associated initiatives, focusing on digital services across Group Business Units (BUs) and Corporate functions to facilitate the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.

The role also includes managing IT & Digital Services, Governance & Assurance, and the Program Management Office (PMO).

Responsibilities

  • Develop a solid Digital Transformation plan including initiatives, programs, and services with focus on business transformation and improvement.
  • Articulate Strategy & establish initiatives for Digital Transformation across Business Units (Bus)
  • Constantly exploring and assessing new digital technologies and solutions for benefits and consideration
  • Manage development and regular updates of Policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Facilitate establishment of effective IT Assurance Framework (Compliance, maturity assessments, securities, etc....)
  • Ensure effective execution through delivery governance & controls
  • Manage projects Governance, Controls & Reporting
  • Manage operational Activities Tracking (DSs, ICT & IS) and Operational KPIs reporting
  • Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and IoT, to drive innovation and streamline processes across the existing digital landscape
  • Develop, Monitor and report on the value creation of the digital transformation roadmap, of the related new solution and measure the effectiveness and impact of digital solutions/services, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and ROI
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers, markets and competitors to inform the digital strategy
  • Track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation projects within complex organizations
  • Demonstrated experience in leading organizational change management efforts, including driving cultural transformation and overcoming resistance to change
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders across multiple business functions to align digital strategies with overall business objectives and priorities
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, roadmap development and setting KPI's
  • Identify staffing requirements of the function depending on workload


Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related technology field
  • 15 years of overall professional experience
  • 5 years of managerial experience
  • Relevant professional certifications: PMP or PRINCE2, and IT Service Management Certification (ITIL)
