Job description

• Monitoring and implementing standards of safety in compliance with DIYAR HSE System and Client requirements.
• Ensure that site complies with the relevant HSE Legislation.
• Actively visit site and implement safety measures-promote/ensure safe work practices
• Ensures quality safety observation program is implemented and maintained on each site/project and ensure follow up on findings.
• Reviewing and inspecting work areas determining potential occurrence of safety hazards.
• Conducting daily inspections of the projects to ensure compliance and where applicable make recommendations for change.
• Ensure, establish and maintain statistical data concerning all matters of health and safety, training programs with which to provide a basis

for development of further health and safety activities, to highlight trends for future action.

• Review Safety Management System and advise of required changes.

Skills

Qualification & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Construction or related Engineering Degree
• 10+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety
• NEBOSH IGC certificate or an equivalent internationally recognized safety profession is mandatory.
• The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.
