Role Purpose

  • To support the Central NEOM Governance department in the development, review, implementation, administration and reporting over NEOM Policies, Processes, and Procedures and the NEOM Delegation of Authority.
  • To support with the management of certain Executive Level Committees and their activities.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

Policy Management

  • Assisting in the development, review, and implementation of governance-related policies, procedures, and processes
  • Providing guidance to the NEOM Business on the NEOM Policy Framework
  • Maintaining a register and document control over all NEOM Policies, Frameworks, Standards, Charters, and other documents.
  • Liaising and follow up with relevant Policy and document owners to ensure content is kept up to date.

Executive Level Committees

  • Support in the preparation, administration, follow up, actions tracking and reporting over Executive Level Committee meetings.
  • Ensure that all reports submitted to the Committee or presented during the meeting have been retained & uploaded to DiliTrust

Information Management

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of governance-related activities and projects.
  • Take responsibility for building and maintaining a high-performance document control process according to NEOM Policy Framework, processes and standards.
  • Implement a Document Control Strategy for all documents and associated information-related processes.
  • Control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents.
  • Produce reports for overdue comments, inefficiencies, and outdated documents needed from the proponent.

Delegation of Authority (DoA)

  • Maintain and manage the DoA Automation tool (i.e., raising requests, reviewing and routing requests for approval).
  • Supporting on the review, interpretation, and response over DoA inquiries from all areas of the NEOM ecosystem.
  • Maintaining and updating the register over DoA delegations / re-delegations

Other related Governance Tasks

  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations on governance-related issues for senior management and stakeholders
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to governance and compliance.
  • Providing support to governance team members in the management of governance-related projects, including risk assessments, compliance audits, and regulatory reviews.

Background, Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 5+ plus years of proven GRC-related experiences (e.g., accounting, auditing, internal control, compliance, risk management, legal) in similar industry or environment working at a level with full responsibility for effective policy, process, procedure development, analysis, review, control, and administration.
  • Reliable, highly organized, with great attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking and work well in fast-paced demanding environments
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and proven ability to simultaneously manage a wide number of different functional areas.
  • A creative and agile approach to workplace challenges.
  • Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations with compelling content and visuals, including the ability to translate complicated ideas and concepts into visual graphics for use in presentations.

Qualifications

  • BSc or Master’s in Accounting, Law, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Big 4, consulting, or legal firm experience preferred.
