ECG Technician

As an ECG Technician, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Your primary responsibility will be to perform electrocardiogram (ECG) tests on patients to record the electrical activity of their heart. This information is vital for doctors to analyze and diagnose various heart conditions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare patients for ECG tests by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort.
  2. Attach electrodes to the patient's chest, arms, and legs to record the electrical signals of the heart.
  3. Operate ECG machines and monitor the quality of the recorded signals.
  4. Recognize and troubleshoot any technical issues with the ECG equipment.
  5. Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and test results.

Preferred Candidates:

  1. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
  2. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  3. Good communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Experience in using ECG machines and interpreting ECG results.
