Job Purpose:
To carry out all Quality Control (QC) functions during electrical activities according to the specification, scope of work, codes, standards, approved ITP and documented procedures in order to ensure quality services.
Key Accountabilities:
- Review and analyze all ITPs, QCP, Method Statement and Material Approval in order to prepare the inspection plan, including a checklist of inspection points.
- Carry out inspections during the construction of project in order to ensure compliance of works and installations with drawings, specifications, quality, and other applicable standards
- Schedule, coordinate and monitor the calibration of all measuring devices, instrument, equipment and system in order to ensure standards are met.
- Assist in the handling of non-conformities in order to support in their resolution following an inspection.
- Implement safety & QMS Procedures in order to ensure that the E &I activities are in compliance with company standards and completion.
- Follow ZOSCO Safety Standards and Rules by attending Tool Box Talks and identifying and reporting any unsafe practices to achieve health and safety objectives.
- Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering international standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Prepare and submit required report to QC Supervisor.
