- Assist dermatologists during examinations and procedures, including biopsies, laser treatments, and cryotherapy.
- Assess patients’ skin conditions and document findings in medical records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients about skincare routines, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Perform routine dermatological procedures such as wound care and dressing changes.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Stay updated on advancements in dermatology nursing and participate in continuing education.
Skills
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Current nursing license if available.
- Experience in dermatology is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- SCFHS is a must.
