The ideal candidate for Sr. procurement engineer responsible to be ensures proper alignment of the inbound supply chain for products and raw materials across our business units. In addition, this role drives continuous improvement of our cost position and takes an active part in product improvement and development in support of business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by Design Department.
• Maintain the BOQ with updates from suppliers until after awarding the contract
• Receiving the price quotations. (competitive quotes)
• Prepare schedule of comparison
• Reiterate with designers and suppliers for finalization of quantity and quality
• Establish delivery terms, time and stages of inspection for the supply with Project Management Team.
• Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements
• Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity
• Regularly train on company development programs
• Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company engineers and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical procurement

Skills

• Able to analyze technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for handling organizational activities and project tasks.
• Previous experience in analyzing material bills and project drawings to understand essential requirements for project completion.
• Able to understand project-related requirements by examining and analyzing technical documents.
