Senior Manager - Technical Construction Coordination - Landscape
Job Purpose
This role is involved in overseeing the integration and compliance of various construction processes, ensuring the project's technical specifications are met from initiation to handover.
Job Responsibilities
• Technical Submittal Reviews: Conduct comprehensive reviews of contractor submissions, including materials, equipment, and shop drawings, to ensure alignment with the original design intent and regulatory standards.
• RFI Handling: Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors, providing necessary clarifications on design and technical-related queries.
• Coordination of Technical Aspects: Facilitate communication and collaboration among different disciplines and contractors.
• Site Meetings: Participate in regular site meetings to discuss and resolve issues, guaranteeing adherence to technical standards.
• Change Orders: Manage the review and coordination of any changes to the design or construction approach, maintaining the project's technical integrity.
• Compliance Checks: Perform regular compliance checks against local building regulations, codes, and quality standards.
• Documentation: Ensure all project documentation, including as-built drawings and warranty information, is accurately maintained and handed over.
• Final Inspection and Handover: Assist in final inspections and the handover process, ensuring that all technical parameters have been met.
• Post-Construction Review: Engage in post-construction technical coordination to resolve any issues that arise during initial occupancy or phased handovers.

• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.
Safety, Quality & Environment
• Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Job Stakeholders (Relationship)
Internal
• Project Management Team: Collaborate closely with the project manager and team members to align project goals and technical requirements.
• Design and Engineering Departments: Work in tandem with in-house architects, engineers, and designers to ensure design integrity and technical feasibility.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance Teams: Coordinate with quality assurance and compliance personnel to adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Procurement Department: Liaise with procurement to ensure materials and equipment meet project specifications and quality standards.
External
• Contractors and Subcontractors: Engage with contractors and subcontractors for the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
• Suppliers and Vendors: Interact with suppliers and vendors for the provision of materials and equipment, ensuring they meet project and regulatory standards.
• Statutory Compliance Consultant: Coordinate with local government bodies and regulatory authorities for compliance with building codes and permits.
• External Consultants and Experts: Collaborate with external consultants, such as specialized engineers or environmental experts, for specific technical inputs and assessments.
• Hospitality Operators: Work closely with hospitality operators to ensure the project meets the specific operational requirements and standards of the hospitality industry, focusing on aspects like guest experience, operational efficiency, and service delivery.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or environmental Design.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in landscape architecture, including the design and implementation of outdoor spaces and environmental planning.
Skills
• Significant experience in construction management, particularly with large-scale projects.
• Proficient in construction documentation and building systems integration.
• Skilled in problem-solving, communication, and project management.
• Well-versed in compliance regulations and quality standards.
