JOB PURPOSE

 

Responsible for leading the strategic planning of the People function in

alignment with NEOM goals and objectives. Leads the overall planning of the People function ensuring that resources are allocated in an optimized manner. Prepares, monitors and maintains of the People function budget. Lead HR-wide projects ensuring delivery meets the set objectives and delivery timelines.

Oversees all People policies, Delegation of Authority and ensure compliance with local regulations. Manages critical People systems allowing the generation of progressive analytics that inform key decision making.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  • Hold overall responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering the strategic planning approach, either for a significant part of the organization or for the organization as a whole.

  • Hold overall responsibility for designing, developing, and delivering the organization's project management strategy. Personally lead one or more projects of strategic importance.

  • Act as a team member supporting a change initiative by providing analysis or monitor Take responsibility for developing and delivering change management plans and achieving outcomes for a part of the organization based on a broader change management initiative. In progress with guidance from a project/program manager.

  • Communicate the function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision, and values; clarify the actions needed to implement this strategy within the area of responsibility; motivate people to commit to the mission, vision, and values and do extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals.

  • Manage budget plans for a department. May involve development or delivery or both.

  • Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization's performance management systems to improve personal performance. Or manage and report on team performance; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold people accountable for achieving them, taking appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives.

  • Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives.

  • Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of audit control with guidance from senior colleagues.

 

EDUCATION                                        

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

EXPERIENCE                        

  • Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. (Over 10 years)

Managerial Experience

  • Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 3 years to 6 years)
