Role Purpose | We are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our dynamic team in the Power Generation sector, overseeing projects involving solar, wind, geothermal, thermal grid-connected, and temporary off-grid power plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all project documentation. | |
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES |
Document Management System | - Implement and maintain document control processes and systems for all project-related documentation.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of documents in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Handle the distribution of project-related documentation to project teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Review and update technical documents, including contracts, reports, and drawings.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and complies with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and external contractors to ensure clear communication and documentation flow.
- Provide regular updates and reports on document status to project teams.
- Address and resolve any issues related to documentation.
- Manage and maintain the EDMS, ensuring its efficiency and accessibility.
- Train staff on proper documentation and EDMS use.

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS |
Knowledge, Skills and Experience | - Good knowledge of document control processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with power generation projects and the specific documentation requirements for solar, wind, geothermal, and thermal power plants.
- Proficient in MS Office, and document management software such as Aconex, BIM360
- Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in the power generation or related industry.
- Proven experience in handling complex document management systems.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in information management, Library Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. |
