Job Summary:
The Plastic Surgeon Consultant will provide expert surgical and non-surgical treatments in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients requiring cosmetic enhancements, reconstructive procedures, and trauma care. The consultant will also play a key role in mentoring junior medical staff, contributing to research, and ensuring adherence to high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Perform a wide range of plastic and reconstructive surgeries, including but not limited to, cosmetic procedures (e.g., facelifts, rhinoplasty, liposuction) and reconstructive surgeries (e.g., post-trauma, burn reconstruction, breast reconstruction).
- Provide non-surgical cosmetic treatments, such as Botox, fillers, and laser treatments.
- Consult with patients to understand their needs and expectations, offering professional advice and recommendations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and ensure patients are fully informed about potential risks and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cases, including those involving trauma or cancer.
Patient Care:
- Maintain the highest standard of patient care, ensuring a patient-centered approach throughout the treatment process.
- Offer pre-operative and post-operative care, including follow-up consultations and monitoring of patient recovery.
- Address any complications or concerns promptly and professionally.
Teaching and Mentorship:
- Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, medical students, and other healthcare staff.
- Participate in the training and development of the surgical team.
- Lead and contribute to educational sessions, workshops, and seminars within the department.
Research and Development:

Administrative Duties:
