Automotive Maintenace Manager

*Strategic Planning and Performance Management:

- Contribute to the development of the Fleet strategy by developing annual maintenance plans to ensure that the activities performed are aligned to the overall automotive strategy.

- Monitor the performance of the maintenance department and prepare periodic reports on its overall performance to ensure performance deviations are identified and reported in a timely manner and that actions are adjusted to achieve the set annual plans.

*Budget Preparation:

- Contribute to the preparation of the maintenance budget, and monitor the financial performance of the maintenance activities versus set budget to ensure alignment with set budget guidelines.

*Policies & Procedures:

- Develop policies processes and procedures pertaining to maintenance department and manage their implementation to ensure adherence and fulfilment of all relevant requirements.


*Day-to-day Operations:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department providing guidance in the related area, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and ensure that employees’ activities are performed in a timely, efficient and effective manner.


*Maintenance:

- Organise the job allocation in a proper way for optimum utilisation of the workshop facility and manpower.

- Manage the delivery of vehicle with full adherence to stated guidelines and monitor if the job costing is performed properly in order to ensure the highest level of performance.

- Ensure preservation of facilities, equipment, tools as per requirement of the workshop to meet set financial and customer service objectives.

*Resource Management:

- To strategically manage the workshop to ensure resources (people and facilities) keep pace with market growth and service quality keeps pace with customer expectations.

*Warranty:

- Administer the warranty policy in a cost effective manner while maintaining the best interests of dealership, manufacturer and customer.

*Quality Inspection:

- Oversee stage inspection & quality of repair as per manufacturer’s standard in order to ensure all repairs and works adhere to the quality standards established by the company and to international standards.

*Cost Control:

- Monitor the financial performance of the Quality Control activity against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

*Continuous Improvement:

- Stimulate team members and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.


*Health, Safety & Environment:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the human resources function to guarantee employee safety, security legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

*People Management:

- Ensure all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff.
