Role Purpose | The Business Operations Analyst provides Marine Services decision support in of commercial, operations & strategic development including the preparation of business cases, tariff reviews, operations analytics and wider market analysis to execute on Port of Neom strategy. The role is integral in the assessment of strategic projects, business cases and operations optimisation with a focus on delivering high quality analysis through effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. |
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES |
Responsibilities | - Management, coordination & analysis to drive decision support in the Marine Services function building capability in the existing business whilst preparing for the rapid expansion of services in line with growth projections
- Preparation of business case memos and financial appraisal models in support of strategic investments pursued by the Marine Services business unit
- Leading data capture and modelling – optimising efficiency of operations through the use of data
- Capturing, designing and administrating business processes
- Market research and benchmarking to support growth and other opportunities
- Assist in researching, developing and implementing the Port of Neom decarbonisation strategy with specific focus on the marine services facet
- Tariff review, reconfiguration and associated process flows
- Conduct market research & benchmarking, identifying growth opportunities through industry analysis and evaluating market trends
- Prepare and conduct presentations (internal and external)
- Liaison with all internal stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Procurement, Fleet, Operations, Human Resources and HSSEQ to ensure coordination of approach.
- Ad-hoc projects as required

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS |
Knowledge, Skills and Experience | - Strong Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced expertise in Thinkcell, Microsoft Visio, Project required
- Experience in Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or other programming language
- Strong experience in data insights, analytics, business modelling and reporting
- An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset, challenging established norms
- Strong Project Management skills
- You will have gained experience in an investment bank, big 4 consultancy, corporate advisory firm or business development team building financial models, providing analysis and key business decision support
- Demonstrated analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal stakeholders
- High tenacity and persistence to follow through on issues, able to work with ambiguity
- Self-starter with a strong personal drive to deliver and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven skills in building relationships with stakeholders and/or customers, internal & external

Qualifications | - A Bachelor degree in a relevant field with a major in finance / business /data analytics
