Legal Director - Start Up - Riyadh As Legal Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of our business, providing strategic legal guidance, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks. This role requires a proactive and business-oriented legal professional with a strong background in corporate law, regulatory affairs, and contract management. Description Legal Strategy and Compliance: * Develop and implement the company's legal strategy in alignment with business goals. * Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations. * Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and provide proactive advice on necessary actions. Contract Management: * Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including partnership agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, and licensing agreements. * Provide guidance on contractual obligations and manage contract disputes. Corporate Governance: * Oversee corporate governance matters, ensuring adherence to best practices. * Manage legal aspects of corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investments. Risk Management: * Identify and assess potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. * Advise on risk management policies and procedures. Regulatory Affairs: * Liaise with regulatory bodies and government agencies to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. * Represent the company in legal and regulatory matters, including hearings and investigations. Team Leadership: * Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. * Collaborate with other departments to provide legal support and ensure alignment with business objectives. * Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from a recognised institution. * Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia. * Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in a senior legal role. * Strong background in corporate law, regulatory affairs, and contract management. * Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and provide strategic legal advice. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. * High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity and professionalism.
