MEP Specialist (Modular Project)

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the MEP team in the planning, design, and oversight of the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in our construction projects. The MEP Specialist will work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure that all MEP systems meet project requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities: Design and Planning: Support in developing and reviewing of detailed designs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Assist in the preparation and interpretation of blueprints, schematic drawings, and specifications. Checks that designs comply with local codes, regulations, and standards. Project Management: Responsible for the MEP installations on construction sites. Ensure timely completion of MEP-related tasks. Liaise with subcontractors and vendors for MEP works. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to the construction team. Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues that arise during construction. Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations for MEP systems. Quality Control: Ensure the quality and integrity of all MEP installations. Conduct testing and commissioning of MEP systems to verify performance. Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all MEP activities, including design changes, inspections, and testing results. Prepare and submit detailed reports to project managers and stakeholders. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on MEP progress and issues.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in the construction industry. Modular project experience is a must. Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
