As a senior FP&A Specialist, your responsibilities will include providing financial insights and projections to the accounting team. You will provide reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning. You will prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made. As a Senior Financial planning & Analysis Specialist, your daily workload might include: Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner. Partner directly with the finance team and central FP&A groups to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews. Analyze financial reports, identifying KPIs and providing recommendations to enhance financial performance. Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Create and maintain financial models and business cases to support the evaluation of potential initiatives and investments. Contribute to long-term financial planning to support the company's growth objectives. Prepare high-quality presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made. Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization to facilitate strategic planning sessions, workshops, and discussions to gather inputs and align on strategic priorities. Serve as a liaison for the investor relations team, managing the earnings guidance scenario modeling, including executive presentation, Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis. Requirements Our target profile is candidates with... Bachelor’s degree in accounting, statistics, business administration or related field. +5 years of experience in finance or accounting or a related area. Preferably in VC, Private equity, investment banking, or in a Strategy role in a medium size company. General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles Experience developing financial reports and metrics. Excellent research and data analysis, and data visualization skills. Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and identify key insights. Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong Excel, Word, and Power Point skills Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication. Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization.
