Position Objective:
Designing, implementing, and overseeing cutting-edge communication technologies, encompassing IP/MPLS, DWDM, encryption, and other advanced solutions. Contribute significantly to the organization's technological advancements, ensuring a secure and efficient information technology landscape.
Job Description and Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Assist in overseeing operation and maintenance (O&M) governance.
Provide network expansion and distribution initiatives.
Carry out daily follow-up and monitoring of the performance of all implementing operations and maintenance of companies at the Secured Communications Office.
Review operation and maintenance financial invoices and impose fines based on contracts.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of Low-Level Design (LLD) and High-Level Design (HLD) specifications provided by the implementation.
Follow up and maintain records of SLA's for implementing companies and their ongoing projects Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), End of Service (EOS), Long-Term Benefits (LTB), and other relevant metrics.
Prepare minutes of weekly meetings with companies implementing operation and maintenance projects.
Prepare weekly reports for operation and maintenance work, analyze companies' performance, and evaluate the quality of their performance.
Prepare studies to develop operation and maintenance procedures to manage daily operation and maintenance activities.
Attend CAT, RFS, FAT and critical phases of projects.
Verify technical issues and risks according to contracts and scope of work.
Attend periodic meetings with the technical committee.
Archive operation and maintenance documents in a central repository.
Attend and monitor pilot operation tests.
Technical documentation services.
Define and establish testing standards.<br/><br/>Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering. 10 years of experience in communications, security and information technology with a CCNA certification. Proven track record in designing, implementing and supervising communications technologies including IP/MPLS, DWDM, and encryption. Preferred CCIE certified.
