Inventory Control Lead Job Description Lead the overall inventory management processes and activities by ensuring that systematic & orderly inventory operations (e.g. inventory categorizations, classifications & metrics, storage level) are in place in supporting operations to have the right quantity & type of materials. Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to determine the maximum and minimum stock levels for the highly sensitive items related to operation. Support in controlling and managing the overall inventory ordering activities to ensure accurate materials are ordered at the right cost, necessary authority approvals are obtained, and timely shipment deliveries. Lead the monitoring of stock levels and contribute to the review and submission of purchase orders to procurement to ensure accurate and timely deliveries of materials. Ensure the provision of all available inventory to the relevant departments at Saudi Post in a timely manner. Plan and supervise periodic physical check based on specified schedule to ensure accurate inventory for subsequent forecasting and replenishment orders. Arrange and coordinate investigations on any inventory stock discrepancies towards identifying the cause and corrective steps to be taken to mitigate future occurrences. Lead the preparation of inventory reports ensuring accurate representation of stock level. Collaborate with the accounts team in order to conduct an accurate valuation of the inventory based on the end-of-year stock levels and ensure that it is accurately reflected in Saudi Post’s books. Review the stock items list and provide recommendations to relevant departments with regards to disposing/repairing/reselling non-movable/fully-depreciated items ensuring that operation, distribution or maintenance will not be affected.
