Ensure all works carried out by his subordinate are to the required healthcare facility standard. Inspect individual works to evaluate his subordinate's performance. Liaise with other supervisors to ensure the smooth and efficient running of shift system. Report to the hospital Engineer any variations from normal operational condition. Evaluate defects and take the appropriate remedial action. Work at all times in a safe manner within the scope of the policies and procedures of the hospital. Work shifts as and when required. Recommend and initiate the Engineering Technicians and Skilled Workers' evaluations, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, etc. Performs the duties necessary to support and achieve accreditation and assures that facility is in compliance with all government, local laws, and accreditation standards. Through the chain of command and/or occurrence variance report, identifies any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the hospital or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations that put patients, staff or visitors at risk for injury or other harm. Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities. Skills Cold/Hot Water System. Laundry Equipment. Kitchen Equipment. Plumbing Fixtures. Irrigation & Drainage System. Medical Gases System. Air-cooled Centrifugal and Reciprocating Chillers. Walk-in Freezers and Cold Rooms. Air Handling Unit, Exhaust fans, Ductwork System and Air Filtration System. Fluent spoken and good written English, Arabic is a bonus.
