  • Job Description: Sales Development Representative (SDR) for SaaS ERP Software

Job brief:

  • We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team.
  • As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and building relationships with potential customers for our SaaS ERP software.
  • You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for the sales team. If you have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a drive to exceed targets, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers for our SaaS ERP software.
  • Research and build a pipeline of leads through various channels, including online research, social media, industry events, and networking.
  • Engage with leads through cold calling, email outreach, and other communication channels to create interest and assess their business needs.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their requirements, budget, decision-making process, and timeline.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on strategies, share insights, and optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position our SaaS ERP software and articulate its value proposition to prospects.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, qualified opportunities, and meetings set.

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience in sales development or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry. Experience with ERP software is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with a drive to exceed targets and achieve sales objectives.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or similar platforms to track and manage leads.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools such as email clients, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the SaaS industry, ERP software, and the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences is advantageous.
  • Note: This position may require occasional travel for industry events, conferences, or customer meetings.
