A Fine Silver Jewelry brand is seeking a full-time in-house creative Art Director with a strong portfolio who will be tasked to create social media content, all marketing collaterals, and promotional materials.
Responsibilities
· Manage the creative process from concept through execution to implementation
· Understanding marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
· Monitoring photoshoots and imagery styling direction
· Generating clear ideas and concepts along with the copywriter and the graphic designer
· Estimate and manage time accurately and independently; maintain project deadlines and budget
· Meet marketing objectives and strategies, while adhering to tight deadlines
· Review creative briefs and develop creative direction in a collaborative effort based on the job request/requirements
· Ideating company-wide digital and print campaigns ranging from events to holidays
· Creating style guides that will be shared across all our design platforms, including: the look and feel of photography, color palette, logo/lockups, patterns and other graphic elements.
· Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices
Skills and Experience
· Minimum 8 years experience preferably in a jewelry or luxury brand
· Team-oriented individual who understands how to craft compelling, on-brand creative for print and digital retail marketing and cross-platform campaigns
· In-depth knowledge/experience in e-commerce/branding in the retail industry
· Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical (production), photography, copy and project management teams
· Strong brand-identity background with proven campaign concepting experience
· Exceptional design and typography skills with a keen attention to detail
· Strong portfolio featuring clean, balanced designs
· Ability to speak to design techniques; strong understanding of composition, color, imagery and typography
· An in-depth knowledge/experience in PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign
