• Expertise: Protection Relay and Scheme Experience Up to 132 kV and 380 kV.

Responsibilities:

• Onsite / Field Testing of Protection relays, Distance protection, Differential protection and Busbar protection of various manufacturers, hands on experience of relay configuration, 380 kV, 230 kV, 132 kV substation protection and schemes.
• Preferable to have SEC badge no. approval. 
• Can work in energized substation for maintenance, modification and retrofitting projects.

Qualification

• Graduate Electrical Engineer

Certification and Training

• Following trainings or certifications are preferable to have:
• Training Certification from various protection relay manufacturers for testing and commissioning of relays.
•  
• Experience requirement:
• On site field experience of minimum 3 - 5 years is must.
• Supporting documents shall be required to verify the hands on field experience.

Communication skills:

• Must be fluent in English for understanding, reading and writing.
• Shall be presentable and can deliver or discuss technical report or issues with client.  

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of advance protection relays, advance testing equipment's like Freja and Omicron, software's for relay configuration and testing. Must be familiar with international standards and manufacturer standards for testing of protection relays.
