About the Role

Makboos Restaurant, a branch of Jounah Food Company, is looking for a Cashier to join its team in Abha, Asir. The person in this position is responsible for managing cash and credit transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of sales records. The role is full-time and requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Count and record money in the cash register at the beginning of the shift, ensuring a sufficient amount of small change is available.
• Receive payments by cash, credit card, or other approved methods, pay out the remaining amounts, and issue appropriate receipts.
• Continuously update price lists, calculate prices for goods or services, prepare invoices, and apply discounts when necessary.
• Reconcile incoming cash with total sales at the end of the shift and report or resolve any discrepancies.
• Handle customers professionally and meet their requirements regarding additions or deletions to purchase lists.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0 to 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Ability to handle cash accurately.
• Good customer service and effective communication skills.
